 “The Big Cover-Up” video (below) along with this website, addresses this major race and social justice problem. It shows the entire integrated news media engaged in their little-known systemic racist editorial practice of supporting the police in race and police encounters. This has been going on unknown. Even blacks have missed it  since integration.

Revealing this major racist news media revelation is the only thing saving black Americans from fifty more years of being totally unaware of this news media systemic racist problem. Our solo awareness is why we have spent years attempting to share and address this news media racist problem. Without  the video, (below) this news media racist practice remains an unknown to a whole nation and race. Acting on our awareness is why we caught and captured this news media racist practice on video. 

To be clear, we are not talking about the integrated news media ignoring cases of excessive force and police killings of blacks, which generally gets ample news media coverage once picked up by the news media. We’re talking about the lack of news media accountability in everyday race and police encounters. When combined with the police code of silence shows the permissive lack of accountability environment in race and police encounters that cops have been operating under these many years.

Cops knowing they have that kind of freedom leads to the abuse of authority, and at times to those unwarranted incidents of police excessive force and unjustified killings. It's the kind of latitude that makes the eventuality of excessive force and killings predictable if not inevitable.   

Everything (in the video below)  except for our naration was recorded from national television network news shows, showing that the news media has their unwritten racist rules that are as real in the news media as the "code of silence" is with the police.  

 When the Gates Crowley affair involving the fitst black President in his first race and police incident appeared on the national television stage we recorded the events as they unfolded. It didn’t take long before the news media’s systemic racist editorial practice exposed itself that we alone saw and documented in "The Big Cover-Up" video. (below) Also exposed was how we have been missing this problem all these years.

 BREAKING DOWN THE VIDEO TO RAISE AWARENESS  

Millions of Americans followed this Crowley-Gates-Obama story at the time. It was the first race and police incident involving the first black President in his first year in office. It was remarkable that despite all of the eyes on this high profile news story, they all failed to see the racist injustice that took place as shown in the video.  

In pointing out individuals and groups that totally missed the racist revelations is not to embarrass or cast aspersions. It's to show the extent of how all of our best and brightest black Americans missed this integrated mainstream news media racist affront to the black President and by extension to black Americans. Major  watchdog groups and their leaders, like the NAACP, The Urban League, Black Lives Matter all showed no awareness of the press and police racist injustice on display. These breakthrough revelations show that a news media operation presenting the kind of information in the video is what we can no longer afford to be without.  

INTEGRATION DELUSION: THE SELF-DEFEATING MINDSET TO BE ADDRESSED

The video shows that there is a widespread embrace of the "Integration Delusion" phenomenon, which is the mistaken belief that with integration these two key professions of press and police ended  their pre-integration racist practices. 

The video shows classic examples of the mistaken embrace of this thinking. It shows Colin Powel, and Jaun Williams, two prominent black men naively insisting, on national TV,  that the presence of black cops is proof that no racist injustice occurred. That's followed by Stephen A Smith, also on national television adamantly denouncing Professor Gates in support of the lying Sgt. Crowley. It's all presented and  disproved in the video showing Crowley lying and filing a false police report.  Plus two black cops adamantly supporting him and the police cover-up. 

We must point out, this is not a racist conspiracy among those in the news media. It's much stronger as an unwritten racist editorial practice that many in the integrated news media are unwitting participants.  

RACIST NEWS MEDIA  INSIGHTS BEING EXPOSED AND SHARED FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER

The video shows the permissive environment and the lack of news media scrutiny and accountability police have been operating under in race and police encounters. It also explains the freedom police feel they have and often take when dealing with black Americans. We see a perfect example of this with Sgt. Crowley's decision to make his illegal arrest of professor Gates and file his false police report.

It shows Sgt. Crowley felt no threat of exposure or department disciplining. He knew he had the "blue code" cover from his fellow officers and he apparently felt no concern that the news media would not support him.  Crowley was right. What happened was even more insidious, the news media  vilified the black President and exalted  Crowley. It's all there in the video.

The initial coverage by  Anderson Cooper of CNN and Greta Van Susteren of Fox News revealed  Sgt. Crowley's false police report on national television. Cooper and Van Susteran, and their networks, CNN and Fox News, never followed up on their own scoops. Nor was it  followed up on by any news other organization after the initial disclosure by CNN and Fox News.   

BLACK COPS AND BLACK NEWS HOST CONFORM TO THE RACIST PRACTICE

That's what makes “The Big Cover-Up” video so important and revealing.   The news media was  completely exposed backing the Sgt. Crowley as he was engaged in racist misconduct despite the involvement of the black President. The video shows black and white cops participating in the cover-up. Even as they defiantly expressed their resentment toward President Obama's justified criticism.   

 Then we see, the two black hosts for CNN, Don Lemon and T.J. Holmes, trotted out to dutifully conduct sympathetic police interviews, redirecting the news story away from Sgt. Crowley's  exposed false police report. Their news story angle was about police resentment of the “unjustified” criticism of police by the black President. Neither man raised the issue of Crowley's false police report in there interviews.

THIS INTEGRATED NEWS MEDIA GENERATED RACIST OFFENSE AGAINST PRESIDENT OBAMA

For the cover-up to be successful, the entire mainstream news media had to ignore the lies and police cover-up, which the video and history shows, they all did.

This left President Obama unjustifiably vilified and Sgt. Crowley, who had lied and filed a false police report, was portrayed by the news media as the aggrieved maligned  American hero. This compelled Obama to invite the lying Sgt. Crowley to the Whitehouse for that infamous Beer Summit to pacify racist  generated press and police driven negative public opinion.

SHOWING HOW PRESIDENT OBAMA GOT PUNK'D BY THE INTEGRATED MAINSTREAM NEWS MEDIA

Years later, in his memoir A Promised Land,  Obama wrote that according to  White House polling, this Crowley-Gates incident caused a larger drop in white support for his presidency than any other single event,[4]

Time after time the American people have shown they believe in fairness, equality and justice. Most recently in the out-poring of protest  against the George Floyd police murder. However, if Americans are deprived of accurate information they don't have a chance to support the right thing. The video shows The black President was being subjected to the news media's racist practice of even knowingly supporting racist police misconduct.  The American people never learned of this news media generated racist police injustice to this day. 

WE'RE THE ONLY  SOURCE THAT CAUGHT IT BUT NOT THE ONLY ONE THAT CARES

Not only do we need a truth teller we need a truth finder. This shows without a national news media operation to present the kind of breakthrough racist revelations provided in the video we remain relegated to this level of racist vulnerability. Until we put our own national news media device in place to prevent misinformation to prevail unchecked, we will be relegated to this second class status.

A SOLUTION TO THE UNSOLVED RACE AND SOCIAL JUSTICE PROBLEM WHERE IT WAS THOUGHT THERE WAS NONE

The launch of this new integrated, all-inclusive national news media operation makes those that have been enjoying a free ride accountable. That's how we make the system work as it is ideally suppose to. This should be a game changer.  For black Americans, either we put the obvious solution in place or resign ourselves to accept this second class status.    

That brings us to the obvious solution. The launch of our all-inclusive 24-7 national cable news television network that will give black Americans national news media representation for the first time in history.  It begins with our $500,000 minimum “GoFundMe" campaign to produce the pilot. Once produced, with corporate commercials showing it to be a sound business concept, the pilot will be streamed nationally via YouTube and other social media platforms. In other words, not only is this a sound business concept but we’re finally fixing the last remaining institutional racial inequality since the civil rights movement of 46.2 million African Americans no longer without full national news media representation and news media accountability in race and police encounters moving us to full participation in society.   

WE ARE NOT LIMITING OURSELVES TO BEING A BLACK THING 

The story of fifty years as America's best-kept news media’s racist secret will be fully exposed and explained in the pilot to justify the $200 million in investment capital required to launch this 24-7 all-American, all-inclusive, national cable news television network that many thought we already have. We will show what the all-American national news media non racist editorial news policy looks like. 

 

The main point and to be crystal clear, this cannot and will not be a black thing, which would be self-marginalizing and self-defeating, putting us right back where we are now. This is a breakthrough revelation for, black Americans. It shows  how we have been fooling ourselves for years in being unaware of the integrated news media's racist practice of supporting the police in race and police encounters. The other mistaken revelation is the thinking that black cops are a deterrent and protection from racist police abuse.

The ultimate revelation is that the silence of the good people that Martin Luther King Jr. described, can’t top the self-inflicted harm we black folks have been doing to ourselves. The Big Cover-Up" video shows how we’ve been literally deceiving ourselves during these fifty years of integration with “integration delusion,” defined as thinking that with integration the press and police ceased their pre-integration racist practices.  

DON'T LET THE BLACK FACES FOOL YOU

However, body cams, phone cams, and YouTube have shown the presence of black cops is in no way a deterrent or protection from racist police abuse of black people. In fact, the pre-integration racist practices have not missed a beat.  The Big Cover-Up" video  shows black cops engaged in backing their fellow police Sgt. Crowley in his racist illegal arrest and false police report. Plus  Sgt. Crowley even defiantly denounced President Obama for criticizing him for arresting a man for "breaking into his own home."

The Gates-Crowley-Obama-affair, gave us this breakthrough video evidence. It shows how the integrated news media has continued their pre-integration racist editorial practice of supporting the police in this race and police misconduct incident. The video shows the news media racist practice is so systemic they even knowingly directed it at the black President in the Gates Crowley Obama affair in support of the lying police officer. Remarkably even black Americans failed to see the news media racist travesty unfold against President Obama to this day. The failure to see the complicit role of the news media in the unsolved race and social justice problem is revealed here. It's among the biggest racist oversights in delaying our progress as black Americans.

"INTEGRATION DELUSION" IN ACTION FOR ALL TO SEE

This lack of awareness is widespread amongst us. The video has scenes showing classic examples of "integration delusion." It shows the late Colin Powel and Juan Williams, prominent black spokesmen, on national television, naievly and wrongly assuring the American people that the presence of black cops means no racist activity occurred in the Crowley-Gates-Obama affair. This was  even as the video shows the  black cops covering-up the racist offense while it's clearly happening.

Completing the triumvirate with Colin Powel and jaun Williams of prominent black spokesman wrongly supporting the lying Sgt. Crowley, The video  shows Stephen A. Smith. He is ESPN's star sports news host appearing on Chris Matthews's Hardball adamantly, loudly and wrongly, denouncing Prof. Gates. Stephen A  has since become the leading ESPN sports host.

EVEN NEWS PEOPLE FAILED TO RECOGNIZE REAL NEWS MEDIA EDITORIAL RACIST ACTION

No doubt there were those who were misled by these prominent black spokesmen's statement that racists practices were not occurring. Even news people who had access to the news media mis-reporting in the Gates Crowley-Obama-affair first hand. We saw an example of that with Joe Scarborough on MSNBC's Morning Joe, referring to Colin Powel's black cop assurance as evidence of there being no racist offense occurring.  Lawrence O'Donnell,  correctly cautioned Joe saying that Colin Powel didn't know what he was talking about regarding his statement on black cops. Of course Lawrence O'Donnell was right. 

We can't measure the extent of the negative impact of these three prominent black guys, Powell, Williams, and Stephen A, of their incorrect misleading statements on the misconduct of Sgt Crowley, who filed that false police report. It turns out to be the proverbial tip of the iceberg, showing even black Americans at all levels being naively unaware of this news media's tradition and practice of supporting the police in race and police encounters.

REMARKABLE LACK OF AWARENESS FOR FAR TOO MANY YEARS

However, these three prominent black guys, Powell, Williams, and Stephen A, being unaware of this press and police complicity in race and police matters are far from alone. They are in the company of our greatest writers, and thinkers. Thet too have also failed to recognize this racist news media support of police in race and police encounters in their works. Going all the way back to James Baldwin, Maya Angelou, Toni Morrison, and up to current day famous black authors like, Alice Walker, Kendi X, and Ta-Nehisi Coates. Regretably other than our disclosures, on this website, there are no exceptions.  

The news media practice of supporting the cops in race and police encounters has been going on for these fifty integration years. It's graphically revealed in "The Big Cover-Up" video and that's it. That makes the video  and this website the only place you'll find this ultimate racist revelation. It shows this racist editorial practice in the integrated news media that omits news media accountability in race and police encounters has escaped the awareness of the nation.   

On the other hand, this is a rare opportunity for Stephen A and Jaun williams to speak up for the ultimate solution we're explaining through out this website. Stephen A is known for contemptuously denouncing others for being wrong. Colin Powel set the bar high for character in going back and apologizing for being wrong and misleading on the weapons of mass destruction in Iraq. Unfortunately, he is no longer with us but we don't doubt he would hasten to publicly  correct his mistake in the Gates Crowley Obama affair had he been made aware of his error. 

Stephen A Smith, is also known for publicly correcting his mistakes. In his customary emphatic delivery, he adamantly and erroneously denounced Prof. Gates in support of the lying Sgt. Crowley. The ball is now in his court, which is actually a great opportunity for Stephen A to reverse his mistake and  make a historic impact on changing the course of history. 

It's one thing the breakthrough in "The Big Cover-Up" video  made clear. The unsolved race and social justice problem cannot not be solved without the missing news media accountability in race and police encounters being put in place. That's the most significant advancement that's totally within our power to make happen that we have yet to achieve. It's the establishment of this all-inclusive integrated national news media operation  that will introduce accountability where it's been missing, needed but  has never been.

Catharsis Versus Catalyst For Real Change

We can continue to write all the poems, books, and plays on racism, its impact and what forms it takes--Produce all the movies and documentaries on race and police brutality and their police summary executions of unarmed black males replacing lynchings—Produce all the music videos dramatizing these racist practices- Rap on race and social justice—Erect statues and build museums on the history of lynchings-- Engage in updated demonstrations from “Black Lives Matter” to those NFL players reaching back to iconic civil rights demonstrations models or black NBA high-profile players giving a nationally televised ESPY group speech.

Let's not forget the first black President marshaling the full powers of the Presidency looking for the answer unsuccessfully but alternatively establishing his “My Brother's Keeper Initiative.” Roger Goodell convened the billionaire owners and the millionaire players in pursuit of the answer to the race and social justice problem. Then there are the billions the philanthropic community has allocated over these last fifty years to this issue.

The good thing about all of that is it shows how all-consuming this race and social justice problem has remained at the forefront of our existence as a race over the last fifty years. It also shows how we have managed to progress despite this uninterrupted racial injustice. Finally, It shows our eternal optimism using these various art forms and demonstrations to appeal to the goodwill and hearts of the American people.

The Difference Between A good Feeling And A Good Move

All
that's good. We also believe in the goodwill of the American people.
In fact we expect as many white Americans to support this game
changer as black Americans as has been the case with the support we
have received so far for this long awaited logical common sense
solution.

We expect the biracial support to continue, once it's understood we're putting in place an all-inclusive national news media operation amounting to structural change resulting in (1) unprecedented empowerment for African Americans, (2) the solution to the race and social justice problem and (3) ending the last remaining institutional racial inequality, all of which are finally being addressed with this endeavor.

The question is for those who have relied on the various measures we recounted so far in fifty years, do you see the difference in being in control of our own national news media operation versus relying on a middleman news media that's been playing us with an integrated staff and an editorial policy that supports the police in race matters and often knowingly covers up police misconduct when race is involved.

There is no reason we can't be the leading most reliable national news media operation in the nation. The product is information. If the mainstream news media want's to manipulate information to serve a racist agenda that's their choice.
